Letter, January 11, 1932, from Connie Mack to Howard Ballard thanking him for offering his 1914 rule book and wishing Ballard well in the 1932 season. This letter was not signed by Connie Mack. The letter was written on the American Base Ball Club of Philadelphia letterhead.

Connie Mack played for the Washington Statesmen (1886-1889), Buffalo Bisons (1890), and Pittsburgh Pirates (1891-1896). Mack is best known, however, as a manager.
